More Bangkok~

I quite enjoyed Bangkok...alot more than Pattaya...maybe because we had a cleaner hotel...and overall Bangkok was just a lot cleaner! Guess clean is my forte...lol I also broke out in hives our 2nd night in Pattaya! Turns out I'm not prone to the hot heat...they were heat rashes! I am a lot better now though!

Anyways....on our free day, we followed the tour guide to the Grand Palace where the King used to live...lots of tourists there even on a Thursday. Beautiful statues and buildings, have a look at the pictures~

Here's a picture of Ben's new wardrobe....just kidding.... you're not allowed to wear shorts to the Palace, so you have to rent pants or skirts from them!

After walking around the Grand Palace in the hot hot heat, our tour guide took us to catch a ferry to the closest skytrain. On our way to the skytrain we walked by some food stands~ lots of yummy looking food.

Here's some pictures of us a boat to our next destination - we also got to feed some fishies bread....they went crazy over it...lol

I have to give credit to Ben and his photography...lol thanks for taking all these great pictures hon!

We met up with some more people in our tour group and walked to a restaurant that was popular for their curry crab. A feast we had and yummy it was!

Went to the night market again...and did our final night of shopping in Bangkok.

Here's a picture of the people on our bus playing Nintendo DS - lol entertainment while we wait for our next destination.

The next day - our last day :(, we went to eat a lunch buffet (costed us 600 baht = $18.75 cdn), at Thailand's tallest building - the Sky Hotel. Food was excellent, lots of varieties from steak, sushi, thai, chinese to seafood and lots and lots of fruit!!! Beautiful views of the city, and it's also revolving like the one we have in Vancouver. Here's some pictures~

Bye bye to our tour group and Thailand - we had fun! And we're off to Hong Kong!

This is the end of our trip to Thailand...the past couple of days in Hong Kong hasn't been as exciting...slept in, did some shopping, visited some temples and ate lots of food! I will post more tomorrow...as we are going to see the Big Buddha tomorrow!! YAY!
Good Night!
