Lots and lots of shopping near our hotel...if I didn't mention that already...lol We were always afraid that if we purchased something at the first stall what would happen if we saw something better later on down the road? Or something similar but for cheaper!!?? Oh what the heck! Everything was cheap enough..lol
The next day we went to the beach and had a fun day out in the sun! Ben went para-sailing, only costed 350 baht which is about $11 cdn!
We had to take these speed boats out to all our excursions which was a bumpy ride but a lot of fun! It was nice to be out in the ocean! Ben and I went jet-skiing which was a lot of fun!!!!!!! I would definitely recommend doing that excursion! Ben and Dan went underwater swimming with these weirdo machines...lol but they seemed to enjoy it~ Here's some pictures!
*Sigh* tour guides took us to this honey bee place (part of our tour) to try to get us to buy some honey/bee pollen..lol...we did find a stand outside that sold these really awesome tamarind candies!
Our tour guide asked us if we wanted to go to a lady boy show...and I wanted to go just to experience it...but my cantonese was not too great and we ended up going to a sexy show...which was just a bunch of ladies popping out goldfishes and other odd stuff....wasn't too impressed lol.
Traveling to Bangkok...
On our way to Bangkok we went to a Cabaret show which was a lot of fun!! Take a look at some of the pictures~ I bet you, you could never tell these ladies used to be men....lol

We ate dinner @ the Cabaret and honestly...I would not recommend any of you to take a tour with travel agents....our meals all 4 days were pretty much the same food, same lunch...same dinner...bleeeh! Was not the type of Thai food I was looking for! But on those days we paid for our own meals were yummy! After dinner we went to the Suan Lum Night Bazaar which is blocks and blocks full of night market stalls!!!!!! Let's just say everything was cheap...and we bought lots :)
The next day we went to another mall which had an underground seaworld. Pretty neat! Lots of sting rays, king crabs, sea turtles, different sorts of fishies, sharks...lots!

It's amazing how scary driving out in Thailand is...but amazing that Vancouver probably has more accidents than in Thailand...lol Driver's out here are soo aggressive...and extremely dangerous...there are pick-up trucks that are barred up and used as taxis....no seat-belts, just the back truck full of 6-10 passengers~ Take a look at this father with his son!
Okay...I will post more on Thailand tomorrow...I can't believe how behind I am! I will have to take a day to update this blog! Lol see you soon!
